Watercolours

Six watercolours from an album of drawings by Henry Mounsey (1853-1932).  The eldest child of Jasper Capper Mounsey an Iron Merchant, from Durham Tyne & Wear, although was living in Jesmond at the time of the drawings.  Later the family moved south to Swanscombe in Kent where Henry worked as a Merchant's clerk, before becoming, like his father, an Iron Merchant.  He retired by 1891 and moved to Walcot in Somerset.
