Debate has raged about the date of this ancient looking stone font since it was bought from the garden of a gentlemens club in the Hagley Road, Birmingham, in the 1970s. Best guess is that it is Northern French. But is it 15th century, as the antiquarian who bought it believes, or is it later? Come to Arundel and see for yourself!
